Fair Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Fair Use Policy outlines the acceptable use of The Payments Club platform, member information, and company data. It applies to all members, administrators, and users of the platform. By using the Club, you accept this policy.
2. Use of Member Information
- Member contact information (email, phone) is provided for legitimate Club purposes only — professional networking, event coordination, and membership administration.
- You may not use member information for unsolicited commercial solicitation, spam, or marketing without explicit consent.
- You may not scrape, harvest, or extract member data in bulk for any purpose.
- Member profiles are for professional networking within the Club and may not be republished or shared externally.
- You must respect the privacy of other members and use their information only as they have consented.
3. Use of Company Information
- Company profiles are displayed for informational purposes within the Club.
- You may not use company data for competitive intelligence gathering outside the Club.
- AI-enriched company data is provided for reference and may not be republished.
- Company information may only be used for legitimate business networking purposes.
4. Event Participation
- Event registration is for invited or approved members only.
- You may not share event access codes, QR codes, or invitations with non-members.
- No-shows may affect future registration privileges.
- You must respect the confidentiality of closed/private sessions where declared.
5. Content Sharing
- You may share your own professional content (LinkedIn, company website) via your profile.
- You may not share content that is defamatory, discriminatory, inappropriate, or unlawful.
- Intellectual property of speakers, sponsors, and members must be respected.
- You may not use the platform to distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code.
6. Consequences of Misuse
- Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of membership.
- Serious violations may be reported to the Information Regulator or law enforcement.
- The Club reserves the right to investigate suspected misuse.
- You may be liable for damages caused by misuse of member or company information.
7. Reporting Violations
- Report suspected violations to our Information Officer at privacy@paymentsclub.co.za.
- Reports will be handled confidentially.
