We take the protection of your information and the integrity of our community seriously. The documents below govern how the Club operates and how we look after your personal information.

Your information, protected. The Payments Club [legal entity] is the Responsible Party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). We collect only what membership and events need, we never bundle required processing with optional marketing, and we never sell your information. You can access, correct or delete your information, object to marketing, and withdraw consent at any time in your Member Profile.

What we are responsible for

  • Processing your personal information lawfully, minimally and transparently under POPIA
  • Securing the platform with encryption, access control, logging and backups
  • Honouring your choices: granular opt-ins, easy opt-outs, and your rights of access, correction, deletion and objection
  • Telling you if a compromise of your personal information poses a risk to you
  • Making our compliance documents available on request

What you are responsible for

  • Giving us accurate information and keeping your profile up to date
  • Keeping your password, unique email links and event QR codes secure
  • Using member and company information only for legitimate Club purposes
  • Only submitting another person's details when you are authorised to do so
  • Reading the Terms of Use, Data Privacy Policy and Fair Use Policy
